39 posts over 90 days, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, from Monday 2 November 2026 to Sunday 31 January 2027.
Revised 12 October 2026 · Prepared for Noel and Karen, The Lakehouse on The Landings · [Draft for review]
19 reels, 12 carousels and 8 single photographs. Every caption, hashtag set and line of alt text is written.
Built from the Lakehouse site: the six Perfect for stays, the 99-place guide, the Local secrets and the Airbnb reviews.
Winter is the hard part. The photo library holds about six winter images, so the plan is built from the photographs that exist and from credited stock. Nothing needs filming.
How the mix was chosen
Five groups of content, each tied to a part of the site. The shares are set by what a winter guest needs to know and by what can be made from the photographs that exist.
Group
Comes from
Why it is in a winter plan
The house 8 posts, 21%
The house page: open-plan living, the bedrooms, the deck and the in-house list.
A guest booking in November is choosing a warm room. The fire, the coffee and the games are the reasons to book.
The lake and sky 8 posts, 21%
The lake page and Local secrets: Bradleys Lake, the winter birds, the light.
It costs nothing to make and does not date. Guests mention the lake views in their reviews.
The Cotswolds 10 posts, 26%
The guide (99 places), Culture and Extras.
People book a house and then ask what there is to do. In winter, opening hours and closures are the useful part.
Perfect for 9 posts, 23%
The six Perfect for stays on Home and The house.
Each one speaks to a different booker: the person organising Christmas, the dog owner, the group of friends.
Noel, Karen and guests 4 posts, 10%
The reviews, Stay with us and Guests.
Proof and a voice. Noel and Karen on Christmas Eve do more than another feature post.
Three phases
Phase
Focus
Who it speaks to
Cosy and quiet 2 Nov to 29 Nov
Dark evenings, low sun, a fire on. People look for a winter weekend away. The posts show the house warm, the lake still, and the places a short walk or drive away.
Cosy breaks, dog owners, foodies. One booking call to action in four posts. 4 of 12 posts carry a booking link.
Christmas and the gathering 30 Nov to 3 Jan
Families and friends planning a big table. The posts show the house as a place to gather: where everyone sleeps, how to cook for ten, what to do between Christmas and New Year.
Families, friends and reunions. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day carry no sales message. 5 of 15 posts carry a booking link.
Plan the year 4 Jan to 31 Jan
The new year is when many people start looking at summer. The posts move to the water, the area's history, and the dates people are planning around.
All six stays, Easter and half term. One booking call to action in two posts. 5 of 12 posts carry a booking link.
Choices made
Three posts a week, on Tuesday (reel), Thursday (carousel or photo) and Sunday (alternating photo and reel). Daily posting was set aside: it would need about 90 posts and winter photographs the house does not have yet.
Post times are starting points: Tuesday 12.30pm, Thursday 7.30pm, Sunday 6.30pm. Check Instagram Insights after week 4 and move them to when your followers are online.
One post in three links to the booking page. The rest give people something to save or share. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Remembrance Sunday carry no sales message.
Reviews are quoted word for word, with the name and month as Airbnb shows them.
The cost: a check of dates and hours before each post goes out. Campbell does it, and the checks are listed below.
Seasonal calendar, November to January
Each day shows sunrise and sunset in Cirencester (GMT, 24-hour clock), then the dates that matter, then the post that lands on it. UK means a national date. Sky means astronomy, calculated for Cirencester. Local means a Cotswolds event: its 2026 dates are marked to confirm where they are not published yet.

UK Clocks went back on 25 October. Sunset today 4.39pm.
Daylight shortens by about 2 hours between 1 November and the solstice, then lengthens by about 1.3 hours by 31 January. The earliest sunset of the winter is 3.57pm on 13 December. The latest sunrise is 8.15am, from about 30 December to 2 January.
The 39 posts
Each card says what to make, what goes on screen or on each slide, the caption to paste, the hashtags, the alt text and what to check first. Thumbnails are the photographs already in your library. Nothing needs filming: every card is made from photographs already in the library or from credited stock. A yellow line is a fact Campbell confirms before the post goes out.

How to post
Campbell schedules and posts these for you, so you can skip this section. The steps are here in case you ever want to post one yourself.
Reel
Open Instagram, tap +, choose Reel.
Pick your clips from the gallery. For a stills reel, build it first in Edits, CapCut or InShot, export at 1080 by 1920 and pick that file.
Trim each clip to the lengths on the card. Keep the reel under 20 seconds unless the card says otherwise.
Add the on-screen text from the beats with the Aa tool. Keep it away from the top and bottom edges, where Instagram puts its own buttons.
Sound: keep the clip's own sound, or choose from the Sound Collection, which is cleared for business accounts. Do not use chart music on a business account.
Tap Next. Choose a cover frame with the text near the centre, so it still reads in the grid.
Paste the caption, then the hashtags at the end. Use the Copy button on the card.
Add the location tag. Turn on Share to Facebook.
Tap Share, or open Advanced settings and schedule it for the time on the card.
After it is live, add a Story that links to the site (or to the booking page for the posts marked Booking link). Reply to comments within a day.
Carousel
Prepare the slides at 1080 by 1350 pixels (4:5) in slide order. Text cards use lagoon blue-green #2c6b68, white Jost headings and Figtree body, the same as the site.
Tap +, choose Post, tap the multiple-photos icon and select the slides in order. Up to 20 are allowed.
Use no filter. Keep the same crop on every slide.
Open Advanced settings, then Write alt text, and paste the alt text on slide 1.
Paste the caption and hashtags. Add the location. Turn on Share to Facebook.
Share or schedule. Then add the Story link and reply to comments.
Single photograph
Crop to 4:5 (1080 by 1350). Add no text unless the card asks for it.
Tap +, choose Post, select the photograph.
Paste the alt text, caption and hashtags. Add the location. Turn on Share to Facebook.
Share or schedule.
Scheduling a whole week
On a computer, open Meta Business Suite and choose Planner, then Create post.
Select Instagram and Facebook, upload the media, paste the caption and hashtags, and choose the date and time from the card.
Scheduled posts can be changed or deleted until they go out.
A week in thirty to forty-five minutes
Sunday: read next week's three cards. Settle any yellow checks.
Schedule all three posts in one go.
Each day: reply to comments and messages. Send questions about dates to the booking page.
End of weeks 4, 8 and 13: open Insights and look at reach, saves, shares, profile visits and link taps. Keep the formats with the most saves and shares. Drop the lowest.
Optional shot list
Only if you want to add to the plan. Nothing here is needed: every post is already made from photographs in the library or from credited stock, and all 39 go out as they are, with or without any of this.
The library holds about 43 photographs, and about six show winter. The rest are summer, which is why the plan uses summer images only in January, labelled as summer. Seven credited Unsplash photographs fill the gap on posts about the Cotswolds or Christmas. None shows the lake or the house, and the plan never describes one as the house.

Stock photographs of the Cotswolds, Christmas trees and tables are stand-ins. Never call one our lake, our tree or our table. Replace them only if you add your own photographs (see the optional shot list).
No post says whether a place pays or does not pay. If a place ever pays or gives a gift, mark the post as a paid partnership.
Keep the voice as Noel and Karen: we, plain English, UK spelling.
Keep life jackets in every water post. There is no swimming in the lake and no winter paddling content.
