Somers Dunescape
social plan
39 posts over 90 days, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, from Tuesday 20 October 2026 to Sunday 17 January 2027.
19 reels, 12 carousels and 8 single photographs. Every caption, hashtag set and line of alt text is written. 37 posts are made as finished files. Two are on hold until a fact is confirmed.
Built from the Somers Dunescape site: the five ready-made days, the 15 half-day trips, the local secrets, the beach notes and the house. It runs from spring into summer, so it lands on peak season from December to February.
How it was built
Four phases
| Phase | Focus | Posts |
|---|---|---|
| Spring 20 Oct to 15 Nov | The house, the beach across the dunes, and the first day trips of the season. People start planning summer now. | 12 posts. 4 of them carry a booking link. |
| Early summer 17 Nov to 6 Dec | Ready-made days and half-day trips. Western Port in spring and early summer, from the koalas to Phillip Island. | 9 posts. 6 of them carry a booking link. |
| Christmas and school holidays 8 Dec to 3 Jan | A house for twelve over the holidays. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve carry no sales message. | 12 posts. 6 of them carry a booking link. |
| Peak summer 5 Jan to 17 Jan | Peak season posts: day trips from the house, the map, and the questions guests ask before they book. | 6 posts. 3 of them carry a booking link. |
Choices made
- Three posts a week. Tuesday is a reel, Thursday is a carousel, Sunday alternates a photograph and a reel.
- Post times are starting points: Tuesday 12.30pm, Thursday 7.30pm, Sunday 6.30pm. Check Instagram Insights after week 4 and move them to when your followers are online.
- 19 posts carry the Airbnb link. The rest give people something to save or share. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve carry no sales message.
- Every opening hour and date comes from the website. Where we could not confirm a time from an official page, the post says to check, and the notes file lists it.
- Photos from outside the house are credited in the caption. They are general scenery and are never described as the house.
- The plan is built around the open questions. Two posts, about pets and about guest reviews, wait for answers. Details are in Checks.
